Work Experience

You should have previous experience in both accounting and payroll administration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accounting Economist - experience is required.
  • Experience working with wages and contracts within the retail sector is a plus.

We are currently looking for a financial manager for our headquarters in Vimmerby, who is ready to take on the responsibility of being the spider in the web of our organization.

In our corporate culture, customer focus is deeply rooted, as is the desire and ability to exceed both our own and others' expectations. We are a flat organization where we work with short decision-making paths, and you will work very closely with both management and the stores.

About Sandströms

Sandströms started in Kisa in 1923 by Malcolm and Matilda Sandström. More than 100 years later, it is still run by the Sandström family, making it Sweden's oldest fashion chain in the same family's ownership. Sandströms has e-commerce and ten physical stores in nine locations in Småland and Östergötland. In all stores, we have both women's and men's departments.

Role Description

The tasks include ongoing accounting, analysis, monthly closing, reports, payroll administration, and simpler contract issues. Tax declarations and VAT are included in the role, along with contacts with auditors and authorities.

We prefer that you have a degree in finance. You have good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel, and are an experienced business system user who sees the opportunities for effective system utilization. You will assist our store managers with information regarding wages and contracts.

We are looking for someone who is structured, meticulous, and analytical, combined with the ability to collaborate and be flexible. To fit into the organization, we value a positive and unpretentious attitude. You have a good administrative sense and find it easy to take initiative. You also need to be able to collaborate with different types of people, as you will have close dialogue with our ten different stores but also work closely with the company's management.
